i used to have something up here on this
here web site called "whatever."
i also used to use capital letters for beginnings
of sentences and proper nouns...but that is
another story (titled "shifting is tedious and
generally not needed").
whatever was my outlet for writing. i wrote
whatever i wanted. it was cool. it was also time
consuming and becoming more of a chore than a
pleasure. i felt pressure to write and write well.
i read what others on the net were writing and
i felt inadequate. so, i took it down.
for all those that missed it (assuming that someone
is actually reading this), here's my favorite
issue of whatever, originally written in
early feb, 1996.
it's about me, a game, a club, a car, a stove, a
winter, a computer, and one long-ass week.
whatever.
